Galata bakery & coffee and their Simit burger

It's a beautiful Tuesday afternoon and the press team is on the move to Galata bakery & coffee, our first restaurant/food review.
The main focus is the restaurant itself  and their Simit burger which was recommended by the Galata bakery & coffee manager.
The Turkish family business offers authentic Turkish cuisine at affordable, student-friendly prices.

Named after an ancient neighbourhood in Istanbul, the restaurant’s quirky details are a reminder of its origins.

The restaurant vibe is epic!, chilled and relaxed, it's a breath of fresh air even though you're tucked into the corner of The Grove square in Braamfontein .

The place is packed and a table for seven doesn't seem to be  visible but the manager accommodated us with an alternative plan, they set up three small tables for us and chairs .
The customer service was awesome as the waiters were attentive and helpful, but the food took forever.

Eventually the food arrived, plate by plate. The Simit burger served with a potion of chips, two beef pattys , lettuce , cheese, tomatoes and onions plus two grilled buns served with sauces- BBQ sauce , tomato sauce and mayo mayo mayo mayonnaise.

The Simit Burger is a real treat, even the price is reasonable for a students pocket ,so I highly recommend it.
