The 7-speed DSG transmission kicks out 5 400 to 6 200 rpm. It should be faster than its Polo 7 Rline sibling. The variations differ due to technical differences in the design of the transmissions. The same applies to the torque values: the DSG delivers a maximum torque of 250 Nm between 1 250 and 5 300 rpm whereas the manual gearbox version delivers 320 Nm between 1 450 and 4 200 rpm. The old VW Polo models are slowly fading out as Volkswagen stretches its R-Line. It comes with a new engine, a 1.0 TSI with an output of 81 kW and 200 Nm. It’s a front wheel drive via a 7-speed DSG Dual-clutch transmission. Volkswagen claims that the fuel consumption is at 4.4 L/100 km, they also included that it goes from 0/100 in 9.3 seconds to a top speed of 197 KPH.
