The redefined Golf GTI 7.5 is more than just a precise, agile spaceship.

Image
The Volkswagen brand has reimagined the Golf GTI and made the MK7.5 a powerful beaut. The Golf GTI is mostly known for its speed and “Vrrpha” sound which makes it safe to say that the car has an attention seeking attitude. However, the car has been improved. The car feels comfortable and again the word precise comes up. The new VW mk7.5 enhances the drivers’ concentration to make sure that its brilliant handling is felt and enjoyed. The car sounds awesome of course leaving no excuse for you to push down that acceleration peddle. The drive is swift and the gear shifts are hardly felt. As you drive the car you will realise the clear view you get from the drivers’ seat with the small windows behind the mirrors. The safety features have been dramatically improved as they now include knee air bags, although this may be a new safety regulation which requires all vehicles to have it. Should the car crash head on the engine immediately drops down to prevent it from pushing the d...

GemmerR Beverage is a South African brewed beverage with a sweet zing that will have you begging for more. It’s also homemade meaning it’s made with love and extra care.

I had two flavours the Ginger and Naartjie, of which I enjoyed. The drink is light, refreshing and unique which makes the GemmerR beverage stand out. They plan on making a global foot print on the beverage industry by establishing the brand into an international household beverage. Yes, even in Antarctica. Owned by four young entrepreneurs’ (Kabelo Molomo, Zamani Buthelezi, Lindokuhle Miya, Patrick Mabasa) the two-year-old brand is one to look out for. Priced at R15 each there is no excuse why you should not get yourself one. The four pack goes for R51.99 with flavours such as Pineapple, Naartjie, Raspberry and Ginger *tip* Put the beverage in the freezer and have it sit there over night before drinking it. Please feel free to share the review on GemmerR and help others buy better. To purchase the beverage contact Kabelo Molomo at 079 398 1286, also, you can like the GemmerR Beverages facebook page and GemmerR Beverages instagram page.

The Polo 7 GTI 2017 model is one car South Africans will not get over anytime soon. It’s basically the modern BMW 325i.s “Gusheshe” that our fathers screamed at with excitement in the 90’s.

Image
The Polo 7 GTI is a beaut, one for the books to be exact. The paint colour, the LED lights, the rims, its whole look and feel will have its owner with a smirk, especially in traffic. With a four cylinder 1.8-Litre turbocharged direct injection petrol engine it kicks out 141 kW of power at between 4 300 and 6 200 rpm from the 6-speed manual transmission. The 7-speed DSG transmission kicks out 5 400 to 6 200 rpm. It should be faster than its Polo 7 Rline sibling. The variations differ due to technical differences in the design of the transmissions. The same applies to the torque values: the DSG delivers a maximum torque of 250 Nm between 1 250 and 5 300 rpm whereas the manual gearbox version delivers 320 Nm between 1 450 and 4 200 rpm. Fortunately, the differences in torque have no effect on the vehicle's performance. Volkswagen claims fuel consumption to be at 5.6L/100 km with the 7-speed DSG and 6.0L/100km with the 6-speed manual. The Polo 7 GTI accelerates from 0 to 100...

Introducing the 1.0 TSI R-Line, Volkswagen South Africa brings you its Polo range with a new engine as well.

Image
The old VW Polo models are slowly fading out as Volkswagen stretches its R-Line. It comes with a new engine, a 1.0 TSI with an output of 81 kW and 200 Nm. It’s a front wheel drive via a 7-speed DSG Dual-clutch transmission. Volkswagen claims that the fuel consumption is at 4.4 L/100 km, they also included that it goes from 0/100 in 9.3 seconds to a top speed of 197 KPH. As always there are optional additional extras but the vehicle comes with electronic stability programme (ESP), dual front and side airbags, leather multi-function steering wheel, front fog lights, multi-function display, and the attractive R-Line bodykit. The R-Line package includes R-Line bumpers with a logo on the grille, sill extensions, rear diffuser with a chrome tailpipe exhaust and a rear spoiler in body colour. More than this, the Polo 1.0 TSI R-Line rides on 17-inch Serron alloy wheels. The Volkswagen Polo R-Line is priced at R290 200. The Polo R-Line comes standard with a Volkswa...
