GemmerR Beverage is a South African brewed beverage with a sweet zing that will have you begging for more. It’s also homemade meaning it’s made with love and extra care.

I had two flavours the Ginger and Naartjie, of which I enjoyed. The drink is light, refreshing and unique which makes the GemmerR beverage stand out. They plan on making a global foot print on the beverage industry by establishing the brand into an international household beverage. Yes, even in Antarctica.

Owned by four young entrepreneurs’ (Kabelo Molomo, Zamani Buthelezi, Lindokuhle Miya, Patrick Mabasa) the two-year-old brand is one to look out for. Introducing the 1.0 TSI R-Line, Volkswagen South Africa brings you its Polo range with a new engine as well.

The old VW Polo models are slowly fading out as Volkswagen stretches its R-Line. It comes with a new engine, a 1.0 TSI with an output of 81 kW and 200 Nm. It’s a front wheel drive via a 7-speed DSG Dual-clutch transmission. Volkswagen claims that the fuel consumption is at 4.4 L/100 km, they also included that it goes from 0/100 in 9.3 seconds to a top speed of 197 KPH. As always there are optional additional extras but the vehicle comes with electronic stability programme (ESP), dual front and side airbags, leather multi-function steering wheel, front fog lights, multi-function display, and the attractive R-Line bodykit. The R-Line package includes R-Line bumpers with a logo on the grille, sill extensions, rear diffuser with a chrome tailpipe exhaust and a rear spoiler in body colour.
