BMW seems to be in its element, I mean with such great customer service who wouldn’t purchase a Bimmer.

BMW provided me with great customer service, the experience was unlike any I have received before. Throughout my research with customer service from car dealerships BMW has been the best thus far; can you believe that they still send me BMW service and support updates. Plus, their response is also immediate and efficient. Out of all the car dealerships I have been to BMW has been the only dealership to persistently follow up on my needs regarding the car they provided me with.
The BMW 135M/140i is a great and elegant car but does it deliver? Yes, greatly to be exact. Although the car may have less leg room behind the driver and passenger seat the sport+ mode will swiftly ease that thought out.

The premium performance hatchback has a 3.0-litre six-cylinder turbo engine and with 320hp meaning we're now sitting with 225kW and 450Nm.While the rest of the segment has stuck to highly-tuned 2.0-litre engines, BMW happily kicked that out the door resorting to what it does best; the straight six-cylinder engine making it a true contender. With fuel consumption set at around 10.5L/100km its quite adequate given the nature of this performance vehicle.


The M135i/140i is not a full-on M-power car but it does make an impression with its performance. The car is equipped with different driving modes; Eco Pro, Sport & Sport Plus, the Eco Pro mode is what mostly caught my attention as BMW Sales Exec. Katlego Matee said “it’s like you playing a game as you drive” it monitors your driving and gives you points, those points will then be added up to a number that tells you how much petrol you have saved throughout the drive.

The car also has a car sim card of which you can use to contact your In-case-of-emergency contacts should you be in danger. The sim card will be activated using the SOS smart button which is located next to the cabin lights.

 The car also has a semi auto drive system and collision control, it offers all round safety. Its goes from 0-100kph under 5 seconds, the car feels easily capable of reaching its 250kph claimed top speed. BMW also offers the Harmon Kardon audio system so be sure to pump up the volume.
The BMW 1-Series range starts from R342 000 for the three-door 118i, while the range-topping M135i goes for R560 243. The price includes 2-years/unlimited km warranty and 5-years/100 000 km maintenance plan.

The Haval H6C 2.0T Luxury

The SUV segment has changed much over the years from what consumers thought was an all round vehicle that could go anywhere; to now being the Smart Utility Vehicle that oozes luxury sophistication and comfortability.  Let me give you a quick break down of Havals history. Headquartered in Baoding, Hebei-China, the company is named after the Great Wall Of China and was formed in 1984. This is China’s largest sport utility vehicle and truck producer.
